Black mold is a living organism. Most of the times, no one notice black mold until it becomes a problem. All mold and mildew need two factors to continue growing. It is the food source and the environment for amplication. Black mold and mildew will grown on material that they can eat. These include drywall, wood, and carpet among others.
Black mold grow at location with high moisture and humidity. Toxic black mold can even gron in cold, dry and humid places. Black mold has parts that make up the spore. It is a cellular organism and when it dries, it actually spreads faster. When it dries, there are cellular legs of the spore and they are called the Hyphae. They act like a nest for the mold and mildew.
When dried, the Hyphae legs rip off the delicate spore and will be attached to somewhere else, probably at a close distance from the original source. Black mold can be toxic. The toxicity comes from the spores itself. Other sources of the toxic comes from the faeces of the black mold.
Removal of black mold can be a troublesome project. Before you are able to completely clean one portion of the infected area, you will find that other areas are infected too. There is also a risk that you may inhaled the toxin of the black mold that will make you sick. Fortunately, there are a number of commercial product in the market that helps you remove black mold effectively.
